The Fateful Svensksund exhibition takes you into an underwater world. With the means of science and art, the shadowy world of shipwrecks offers you a peek of the internationally unique cemetery of shipwrecks in the waters outside Kotka. Frigate St. Nikolai, which sunk in front of Kotka in summer 1790, has a central role in the exhibition, which features parts of the wreck, some personal items from the ship, and an interactive multimedia work.
The Alfred Kordelin Foundation has funded the production of the multimedia work and the 3D models.
